About the book: 2011 / The book by Donetsk political scientist, historian and publicist Vladimir Kornilov is dedicated to the short but vibrant history of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic. It so happened, that this topic was actually taboo for many decades. Incredible, but true: for almost a century since the creation of the DKR, NOT A SINGLE book, monograph, or brochure has been published dedicated to this administrative-state formation, which played an important role in the fate of Ukraine and the entire Soviet state in general, at the same time the history of those proclaimed in Multi-volume studies, tomes, reference books and textbooks are devoted to the same period and with the same legitimacy of states on the territory of the South of Russia. This book contains unique, never before published documents, periodical materials from the times of the revolution and civil war, and summarizes scientific works previously known only to a narrow circle of researchers.
