About the book: 2010 / The presented work is one of the few in modern literature that to some extent reflects the Russian reality of the 90s - early 2000s x years. But not the openly criminal reality that is widely represented in detective novels, but the life of an ordinary person, far from politics, from crime - how he tries to survive in the new realities of our time. This includes finding a job and participating in a war under a contract. The story is accompanied by a lyrical theme, which allows us to more deeply reveal the inner world of the main character. However, the development of the plot, for which the author saw many confirmations in reality, nevertheless confronted the main character of the story with a world whose existence, if he even guessed, he did not fully understand what forces govern his own life. And from the moment of this collision, events take on a special dynamics characteristic of works of the detective genre. Another feature of the presented work is the author’s attempt to predict one of the possible developments of events in the country in the coming years, which is not typical for the world of fiction. And therefore the content of the story, its closeness to documentary, arouses keen reader interest, a desire to read everything to the end. Only a few purely optimistic lines complete the long series of adventures and trials that befell the protagonist and his comrades, but these lines leave the reader with the feeling that movement for the better is inevitable in his own life.
