About the book: 1912 / Charles Webster Leadbeater (1854-1934), a talented propagandist of theosophical teaching, during 1909 and 1910. gave many informal lectures at Adyar and answered hundreds of questions. Everything he said was recorded in shorthand, and later a book was compiled from these notes. The first volume, entitled “Theosophical Conversations at Adyar,” was published in 1910, a year later the second volume was published, which gave the final title to the book, “The Inner Life: Theosophical Conversations at Adyar.” The Russian translation, which has long been known to those interested in Theosophy, was made from an abridged American edition, which did not include some sections of the second volume. Now the reader is invited to translate four chapters from these sections.
