    About the book: 2007 / Viktor Mikhailovich Chernov (1873 - 1952) - author of works on sociology and the agrarian question, one of the founders and chief theoretician of the Socialist Revolutionary Party, minister Provisional Government. In 1918 he was elected chairman of the Constituent Assembly. In his book, he recalls the revolutionary days of shocked Russia, those events in the formation of which he took a direct part. He sharply accuses the tsarist government, and then “democracy”, of being talkative and destructive, reproaches them for fear of power, and calls a bloc with the Cadets, who dictate their own terms, unrealistic and harmful. Speaks out about the October Revolution of 1917, which he categorically did not accept.
