About the book: 2010 / 65-page report "Russia of the XXI century: the image of the desired tomorrow" is presented in Moscow on Wednesday. There are two signatures under the document - the head of INSOR, Igor Yurgens, who is considered a representative of the liberal wing in the president’s entourage, and economist Evgeny Gontmakher. According to the latter, the report was the result of a series of closed discussions in INSOR, in which experts in all fields were involved. The report, the text of which is at the disposal of Gazeta.Ru, is written in the essay genre, and earlier INSOR reports are included in it in a modernized form. According to Gontmakher, the report should compete with Strategy 2020, which is considered a program document for United Russia, led by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. “Everyone understands that documents such as “Strategy 2020” are at least outdated, in addition, they do not contain clear principles, they are written “both ours and yours,” says the expert.
