About the book: 2014 / The collection introduces readers to the work of the American poet Edwin Arlington Robinson. The translations were made for the creative evening of the “Poetic Translation Club” (a structural unit of GONEF “Language Environment”), held on December 21, 2014 in the foreign literature sector of the Municipal Educational Institution of the Central Library of Rybinsk, BIC “Raduga”. The “Poetic Translation Club” was created in 2012 on the initiative of the head of the foreign literature sector of the Raduga BIC Alevtina Antipova and candidate of philological sciences Alexey Chernyshev. During this time, he held many creative meetings dedicated to such poets as, for example, George Gordon Byron, Edgar Allan Poe, Rudyard Kipling, Robert Burns, Alfred Tennyson.
