About the book: year / The famous Russian singer Ivan Mileris has been the idol of the young journalist Maria Gornostai since childhood. Only the girl never had the opportunity to see her idol at least once in her life - Ivan died when Masha was still a child. But miracles sometimes happen, and while traveling through the distant and exotic Costa de Esmeralda, the girl meets an exact copy of the deceased idol. At first, she believes that her acquaintance named David is simply a double of Ivan Mileris, but, watching him, Maria understands that such a striking similarity cannot be an accident. Meanwhile, on the calm tourist island where Masha and David met, strange events begin to occur. In parallel with this, no less strange events begin to occur in Moscow, with people who were in one way or another connected with the tragically deceased singer.
