About the book : 1989 / We live in troubled times. The world has come face to face with completely new problems previously unknown to humanity: first of all, the threat of environmental disaster. But all the same problems remain: terrorism, corruption, gangsterism, prostitution, drug trafficking, youth crimes. We, MADPR, are detective writers of the world and authors of political novels, uniting the East, West and the Third World, representatives of different ideologies, beliefs and religions, we, who publish every fifth book in the world, offer to all Academies of Sciences - primarily psychologists and sociologists — organize a joint conference and discuss the tragic situation with growing crime. We, the MADPR Executive Committee, offer all newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, cinema and theaters our advice and assistance in our common work - to do everything possible to stop the growth of crime in the world.
