About the book: 1985 / In 1936–37. Rodimtsev fought in Spain as a Soviet volunteer. He was a military adviser to Lister - in the most combat-ready parts of the government forces. In Spain he earned the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and was awarded two Orders of the Red Banner.
