About the book: 2016 / The author took up writing the book “Where was Rus' born - in Ancient Kyiv or in Ancient Veliky Novgorod?” after becoming acquainted with the works of some Kyiv historians who preach the ancient isolation of the development of Ukrainians from Muscovy. They were opposed by the Kyiv journalist and writer Oles Buzina. After getting acquainted with his books “Dokievskaya Rus”, “The Secret History of Ukraine-Rus”, “The Resurrection of Little Russia”, Stanislav Ivanovich decided to personally get acquainted with Oles Alekseevich. The meeting was supposed to take place in May 2015 in Kyiv. But in April 2015, Kiev resident Oles Buzina was killed in the courtyard of the Kyiv house where he lived. He was killed because in these books he expressed the historical truth without political twists. What were the historical truth and political historical twists? The author of this book had to try show in further chapters of this book, using the publications of the famous Soviet-Russian historian Lev Gumilyov and the Kyiv writer Oles Buzina, as well as other competent historians, that the ancient Ukrainian state “Ukraine-Rus” is an invention of the incompetent Lvov professor M.S. Grushevsky. The book “Where Rus' was born...” shows that the emergence of the Ancient Russian state was a complex process of contact, merger and unification of many nations, including the Slavs, Varangians, Greeks, Armenians, Goths, Swedes, Finnish tribes, Pechenegs, Khazars, Huns , Jews, Mongols and many others. It is shown that the formation of states is based not so much on the desires of the rulers, but rather on the economic and material basis of their principalities (the famous historian Mikhail Pokrovsky wrote about this in his book “Russian History from Ancient Times»).
