About the book: year / The novel "Tales of the Golden Age" is based on the life of Lermontov, instantaneous and bright, like a flash of lightning, it is reproduced in the poetics of classical prose of all times and peoples, with the interweaving of verses into the narrative, which could be just a formal device, if not for the hero, who thinks only in verses, it is through them that he himself will appear before us, as in life, prophetically guessed and created by him. Because within this brief historical moment we see Pushkin, Mikhail Glinka, Karl Bryullov and Emperor Nicholas I, who voluntarily or unwittingly influenced the destinies of the first geniuses of poetry, music and painting, and they will appear here, with the melodies of romances that first sounded then, with balls and masquerades, the colors of which still shine on the artist’s canvases. At the same time, the biography of famous historical figures turns into pure fiction, into a novel about the amazing, about the bizarre vicissitudes of human fate and existence, which can easily be turned into a script for a TV series.
