About the book: 1988 / Mikhail Shalamov was born in 1958. Journalist. Participant of the IV seminar of young writers writing in the genre of science fiction and adventure. In 1980, he was the winner of the international competition of science fiction stories announced by the magazine “Technology for Youth” and similar publications of several socialist countries. Shalamov’s fantastic stories were published in the magazines “Technology for Youth”, “Inventor and Innovator”, “Seeker”, “Cosmos” "(NRB), in the newspaper "Literary Russia", in the collections "Fantastika-82", "Literary Prikamye", "Search-87". The first book of prose by the young author combines the features of a modern youth story and a parody of mass culture.
