About the book: 2017 / This three-volume edition is based on the text of the giant compendium “Zhou Yi Zhe Zhong” (“Analysis of the internal content of the Zhou changes"), compiled at the beginning of the 17th century by the great Chinese scientist Li Guangdi. His book includes interpretations from a huge number of works of all eras and times, in which Chinese scientists turned to the analysis of the text of the “Book of Changes,” which lies at the very basis of the civilizational paradigm of the Chinese mind. For thousands of years, the “Book of Changes” has been a manual on the art of thinking, on which millions of Chinese thinkers and figures who took part in governing the state honed their minds. For throughout this entire period it was considered impossible to occupy any public office without knowledge of the “Book of Changes.” This work is the fruit of more than thirty years of research and research by Bronislav Vinogrodsky, a famous translator and expert on China, the goal of which was to convey to the Russian-speaking reader the whole the depth of the substantive approaches found in this book. Until now, not a single such complete and in-depth study of the “Book of Changes” has been published in Russian. A special feature of this work is the presence of specific historical examples of fortune telling for each sign. The 1st volume includes signs 1 – 30 of the “Book of Changes”. The 2nd volume contains signs 31 – 64. The 3rd volume includes 10 “Wings” compiled by Confucius, which describe the fundamental principles and laws of working with “Changes”. It should be borne in mind that earlier Bronislaw Vinogrodsky published a general introduction to the “Book of Changes” entitled “Universal Way of Thinking”, without which the reader will not be clear about the fundamental concepts and structure of this three-volume collection of the “Book of Changes”».
