Its initiator is the Union of Writers and the administration of the Karmaskalinsky district of Bashkortostan - the poet of the "little homeland" Rasikha Khannanova, to whose memory the competition is dedicated. Songs based on this author's lyrics have been widely known in the Tatar and Bashkir communities since the 1950s and are considered the "gold standard" of the national stage of the two nations. The project is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. The book contains poems by contestants from Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Moscow, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Moscow Oblasts, Perm Region, Chuvashia, Lithuania.
