About the book: 2021 / Here is the first book in Russian, specifically dedicated to the topic of scientific and philosophical understanding of suicide terrorism - one of the mysterious forms of modern extremism. Based on an analytical review of key sociological and political theories that have developed in the West, and criticism of Western scientific methodology, new ways of understanding this phenomenon (in the context of radical Islam), in which some metaphysical and sociocultural reasons for the civilizational order are revealed, are proposed. The book provides a brief history of the evolution of suicide terrorism from its local forms to the activities of transnational networks of Salafi jihadists (Al-Qaeda, etc.).
