About the book: 2000 / The book consists of essays on the history of the study of antiquities of Christian civilization from its origins in late antiquity to the late medieval period in Europe, Asia and North Africa. At the same time, special excursions are being introduced that examine in detail the most controversial issues, as well as monuments, types of structures or artifacts. The study is designed as informative; Foreign research literature (before 1998) and historiographical works with similar themes are widely used.
