It includes information about the geographical location, relief, climatic conditions, largest cities, economic situation, cultural characteristics and mentality, as well as the ruling house. Sometimes supplemented by the history of the land. However, not everything is so simple: at first glance it may seem that this is a great start, but it is not. The guide contains some spoilers, which may reduce the surprise of plot twists. In addition, its volume may seem excessive before starting to read. Therefore, I recommend reading it after the second book in the “Only One Star” series. In this case, spoilers will no longer seem scary, and the abundance of information will not overwhelm the reader, but, on the contrary, will complement the picture of the world, perhaps even enhance the intrigue and make you think about previously insignificant lands in the plot. Most of the information in the guidebook is mentioned in the series, but there are also unique points that will delight those who have already read the series. The guide is a great opportunity to delve deeper into the world of Polari.
