About the book: 2011 / The book publishes the main works of the outstanding Russian thinker, scientist and public figure Slavophile Sergei Fedorovich Sharapov (1855–1911). The state structure of Russia, he argued, should be based on a combination of the absolute autocracy of the power of the Russian Tsar with the broad development of a system of self-government. A prosperous Russia is an inextricable unity, the integrity of the “land” (the people) and the “state” (the king) under the spiritual authority of the Orthodox Church. The people are obliged to obey the king, but have the right to express their opinion, which the king must take into account. The main unit of the Russian state should be an Orthodox parish, which includes not only religious functions, but also administrative, judicial, police, financial, educational, etc. Sharapov is a classic of Russian economic thought, who created a work that concentrates the most important foundations of Russian economic thought. He noted the original nature of the Russian economic system, the conditions of which are completely opposite to the conditions of the Western European economy. The presence of communal and artel relations gives the Russian economy a moral character. Sharapov believed in the future victory of the Slavophiles. He believed that without revolutions and upheavals they would create a great state that would unite all Slavic peoples. Russia will become the center of a powerful Slavic federation with four capitals - Kyiv, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Constantinople. Church and state will merge into one whole. fb2: page numbers in the name dictionary are omitted. Tables are used.
