About the book: year / This book is dedicated to the legendary 46th Guards Tamansky, a twice decorated regiment of night bombers, which was created in October 1941. In the history of the Great Patriotic War, this regiment is known as the “night witches”: only women served in it - from the regiment commander to the technician. Mostly these were very young girls, yesterday's schoolgirls and students. During the war years, the girls made 24 thousand combat missions: they bombed the Germans on the Don, in the Stavropol region, in the Caucasus, in the Kuban, in Belarus, Poland, and East Prussia. 25 pilots and navigators received the title of Hero. Irina Rakobolskaya, chief of staff of the regiment, and Hero of the Soviet Union Natalya Kravtsova (Meklin), commander of the flight that dropped 147 tons of bombs on the enemy, talk about their exploits. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.
