About the book: 2019 / The main character, a former communist functionary, and in post-Soviet times a wealthy businessman, Vadim, is preparing himself to become the ruler of the new Russia. In early spring, on the night of the full moon, the criminals, who have encroached on his assets, show him the terrible murder of his personal driver to intimidate him. In fear, Vadim and his girlfriend Valentina leave the country. But in a new situation, on the spring full moon, the luminary “reminds” him of his cowardice and accuses him of betrayal. In order to overcome the overwhelming reproach, Vadim turns for help to the antipode raised in his imagination, who takes power over him and leads him to a dangerous line.
