This book tells about our contemporary, who, transported from his time on board a whaling ship in the midst of whaling, into a friendly team of Soviet whalers. And it doesn’t matter that you hate the sea, you will only go ashore in eight months, when the fishing season ends! All coincidences are random, inaccuracies are made on purpose. I do not set myself the goal of rewriting word for word the entire glorious history of the flotilla described in the book. Consider this world parallel to ours, and the plot is completely the author’s fiction.
