About the book: 2013 / In the world of flora, there are a huge number of flower plants that decorate the parks and squares of our cities, flower beds of rural estates and dachas, living rooms in houses and apartments, office buildings. Many of these plants are widely known and easily recognized. But the diversity of the world's flora is so great that collectors can find still less common plants, which, due to their attractiveness and unusual characteristics, deserve to take their rightful place in our flower beds or green corners of living quarters. In the brochure “Giant Perennials” the author talks about two such plants - hibiscus and miscanthus. The editors hope that the publication will help flower growers master the culture of these interesting representatives of the flora, and they will find a permanent “registration” on the plots of many amateur gardeners.
