About the book: 2011 / It is no longer news that the official history of Russia, approximately from the 17th century, since the establishment of the "Romano-Germanic yoke "(Prince N.S. Trubetskoy), was composed like a certain horror tale, a “black legend" (L.N. Gumilyov). It is known that this history course, constructed mainly by foreign historians and writers, describes the ancestors of the majority of modern Russians and citizens of the CIS countries - especially Russians and Tatars - are, as a rule, in an extremely unsightly form, and representatives of Western European countries are portrayed mainly as “positive heroes”. It is clear why we, Russians, have a similar “story”: after all, it is, in fact, was written by the successors of the work of medieval Catholic missionaries - foreign political agents - for the convenience of carrying out a kind of colonization of the territories of Eurasia, “which until the 18th century in the works of European geographers was called Tataria” (L. N. Gumilyov) ... But, as we will see in this book, it gives away a lot the authors of the Black Legend - they did not manage to hide and “cleanse” everything from the history of our Fatherland…
