About the book: 1973 / A hot August night, rather a hot August morning, after all, half past three. There is an almost full, almost red moon in the sky. Below it is an hourglass-shaped pool, with two heads above the water. The scent of flowers fills the air, especially the wisteria growing in front of the cabanas at the far end of the pool. A hundred meters away, separated from the pool by a well-groomed lawn, is a large stone mansion with ivy climbing along the walls.
