About the book: 2020 / March 7, 1804, Princess Isabella, the youngest daughter of the British King George III, turns 17 years old. Together with her older sister, she travels across the ocean to the American continent to negotiate with the governor of California about the stationing of the British fleet in the Gulf of California. During the first days of her stay in the new land, Isabella notices that events begin to unfold in an inexplicable way: the governor and his inner circle show unusual interest in her; Isabella finds herself in a series of unpleasant situations that undermine her reputation and threaten her life; her sister detects suspicious behavior, possibly related to the troubles going on. But at this moment a masked hero comes to her defense. She doesn’t know his name or origin, but she understands one thing for sure: they knew each other a long time ago. How can this be, why sometimes what is happening seems so strange, and why is reality out of its time? The answers will be very unpredictable.
