About the book: 2007 / The first issue of the collection "Dagestan Shrines" aims to reveal many aspects of the world-famous so-called phenomenon of Dagestan, developed over thousands of years of joint efforts of the peoples of the Land of Mountains – the phenomenon of socio-economic and ethnopolitical structure, cultural and historical development, friendly coexistence of dozens of peoples over many centuries, the development of unique traditions, the creation of the highest spiritual and material culture. It is no coincidence that this phenomenon is called the Dagestan civilization by a number of foreign and public scientists and socio-political figures.
