God, how quickly the years fly by! - I, like my friends, are already forty, and we are all running, not feeling the burden of the years spent in pursuit of happiness, love, adventure!.. Again and again we make plans for career development, we dream - as we once did in our youth - to find time for painting landscapes or amateur theater, not at all thinking that soon we will only play the roles of comic old women. And the heroines of this book, so similar to us, also breathe life deeply, not noticing the first wrinkles and tired legs - because there is so much to do: love, make friends, forgive and start over. Yes, we are forty - and I would never trade my years for stupid, reckless youth. We have entered the age of mature wine, which melts on the lips, leaving the subtle aroma of crushed herbs, the bitterness of tears and the sweet hop of a mature female soul - not yet touched by withering, but already fully blossomed towards the setting sun. How will the adventures of my heroines end - which of them will save long-term happiness of marriage, and whose hopes will crumble into dust, who will plunge into new meetings or find themselves - everything is in my story.
