About the book: 2005 / The third volume of the collected works of Jorge Luis Borges (1899–1986) includes works created by him in the 1970s. These are books of poems and miniatures, “The Gold of Tigers,” “The Hidden Rose,” “The Iron Coin,” and “The Story of the Night,” collections of short stories, “Brody’s Message,” and “The Book of Sand,” as well as lectures, prefaces, and essays. Particularly noteworthy is the “Book of Fictional Creatures” compiled by J.L. Borges - a genuine compendium of mythological characters from various countries and eras.
