About the book: 1996 / Oleg (Prophetic Oleg, other Russian Olg, d. 912) - Varangian, prince of Novgorod (from 879) and Kiev (from 882). Often considered as the founder of the Old Russian state. The chronicle gives his nickname Prophetic, that is, one who knows the future, who sees the future. Named so immediately after returning from the 907 campaign against Byzantium.
