About the book: 1956 / The book "Lazo" is a popular science biography of a hero of the Civil War. The author of the book is an old Bolshevik. During the Civil War, he was a commissar of the Far Eastern detachment in Transbaikalia, then a military commissar of the temporary Military Revolutionary Committee of the Primorsky Region. Together with S.G. Lazo, he led the partisan movement in Primorye. In this book, the author deeply reveals the image of the legendary hero, whose pure life was given for the cause of the working people, for the liberation of the Motherland. M. Gubelman wrote several biographical essays about Lazo. The last of them was published in 1947. This edition is the most complete and revised. It is based on new, not yet published archival materials.
