I am driven like a wild animal on the hunt. Everything is swimming before my eyes with tears, cold and pain. I run into the dark, frozen winter forest to hide in it. I understand that I will most likely die there. It's freezing outside, and I'm wearing only a thin dress and barefoot. But it’s better this way than in the clutches of those monsters. I hear the chase. I run without making sense of the road, drowning ankle-deep in frosty snow. Although, I don’t feel the cold anymore. Scarlet drops of blood fall onto the sparkling white blanket. In the setting sun they look too bright and contrasty. It’s like ripe bunches of viburnum are turning red. They will find it and catch up. Strength is running out.
