Kozlovsky Vladimir Nikolaevich (1917 - 1984). Member of the USSR Writers' Union. Born in Kozlov (now Michurinsk), Tambov province, into a working-class family. In 1937, he graduated from the Michurinsky Agricultural Technical School and worked as an agronomist in the Dobrinsky district of the Voronezh region. In 1940 he was drafted into the army and graduated from flight school.
