    About the book: 2017 / The book continues the series of monographs by the Center for Labor Research of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, dedicated to the Russian labor market ("Precarious Employment in the Russian Economy" ( 2005), “Wages in Russia: evolution and differentiation” (2007), “Russian worker: education, profession, qualifications” (2011) and “In the shadow of regulation: informality in the Russian labor market” (2014). The monograph gives a comprehensive analysis of mobility processes in the Russian labor market, which covers the period 2000–2014. It discusses such important aspects as the dynamics of jobs and the movement of workers, processes of labor reallocation leading to changes in the structure of employment and growth in labor productivity, the relationship between mobility in external and internal labor markets, the mobility of industrial managers and issues related to external migration .The analysis is based on large arrays of microdata and the widespread use of modern econometric methods. The study provides a holistic understanding of how labor mobility processes are developing in Russia and what consequences this has. For economists and sociologists, specialists in the field of labor relations and social policy.
