About the book: 1958 / Flora Gallen, the sister of a famous fashion designer, hires Wolfe to help get rid of a certain Bianca Foss, who has a strange power over her. Bianca interferes in business, fires cutters, starts crazy, obviously failed projects, and so on. Flora suspects blackmail. Wolf talks to Bianca on the phone, but hears a thump and a groan. It seems that it is possible to record the exact time of the crime, but to Wolfe this seems too simple and suspicious. He believes that he has been tricked and decides to find the killer.
