The investigation in them is noticeably inferior to the description of chases, incredible adventures, etc. But his work continues to be a cinematic phenomenon - 170 films have been made based on Wallace's works. Most of Edgar Wallace's plays are criminal in nature. The author wrote the most famous of them, “On the Spot,” after a trip to Chicago, where he watched Al Capone and his henchmen from afar.
