About the book: 1926 / “World of Adventures” (magazine) - Russian and Soviet illustrated magazine (collection) of novels and short stories , which was published in 1910–1918 and 1922–1930 by the publisher P. P. Soykin (initially as a supplement to the magazine “Nature and People”). From 1912 to 1926 (inclusive), the magazine did not number pages, but columns - two per page (even if in fact there was only one column per page). However, in issues 6, 7, 8 and 9 for 1926, an exception was made for the novel Nihilius, the text of which was printed on a full page. In addition, at the beginning of this issue there are the conditions of the literary competition, the text of which is also printed on a full page. In this issue, pages 1 to 15 are numbered in the usual way, and starting from pages 16–17, the numbering continues in columns. The source file is missing the back cover page. The magazine was published during the years of grandiose restructuring of the rules of the Russian language. Often in a book there are different spellings of the same words. That's how they wrote it then. In this connection, the original spelling is preserved as much as possible, with the exception of obvious typos.
