In the Komsomol, he came a long way from the secretary of a rural cell to the secretary of the Komsomol Central Committee. F. Nasedkin’s first major book, the novel “Return,” was published by the “Young Guard” in 1945. Then our publishing house published his book of essays about Yugoslavia “Roads and Meetings” (1947), the novels “Big Family” (1949), “Red Hills” (1951), the story “So Life Began” "(1964). The story "The Great Hungry Men" was published in the magazine "Youth" (1967). To publish it as a separate book, the author introduced a lot of new things. This is a story about village Komsomol members and communists of the late 20s. It shows the acute class struggle, courage and heroism of rural youth who helped the party carry out the social, cultural revolution, and collectivization. The author was an active participant in the events described in the story - this makes it especially reliable and exciting..
