About the book: 2018 / The emotional mood of Mandelstam’s lyrics is filled with what critics called “spiritual discomfort.” And the accentuated simplicity of everyday little things from which he built his poetic reality only emphasizes the melancholy and anxiety of an extraordinary person who had to live in an “upside-down world.” This publication includes both well-known and less well-known poems of the Russian poet. It includes the author’s lifetime poetry collections (“Stone”, “Tristia”, “Poems 1921–1925”), poems from 1930–1937, combined chronologically, as well as poems not included in the collections. In addition to poems, the book includes autobiographical prose and articles: “The Noise of Time”, “Travel to Armenia”, “Letter about Russian Poetry”, “Literary Moscow”, etc..
