MediaDB / «Russian anarchists. 1905-1917" Paul Evrich: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2006 / The book tells how at the beginning of the 20th century the industrial revolution and social chaos gave rise to the armed anarchist movement. The Russian anarchist tradition was a mixture of Western and home-grown elements. Passed through the prism of the teachings of Bakunin, Kropotkin and naive populism, they developed rapidly during the revolutions of 1905 and 1917. Anarchism in Russia intensified and declined along with the development of the revolutionary movement as a whole. In the whirlpool of uprisings, terrorist attacks and the Civil War, the anarchists tried to implement their program, but were defeated, forced out of the political arena by the Bolsheviks.
