Looking at Masha, who grew up in a country where women, fortunately or unfortunately, have achieved equality, Nicole remembers her own youth. A visit to Moscow is an occasion to go through the episodes of their married life with Andre, to re-evaluate a lot. But - alas! - you can’t turn back time, and Nicole understands that with age she has never overcome her fear of life, which she fears almost more than death, and has not become truly happy.
