The author skillfully draws portraits of his heroes, with subtle humor describes the ups and downs of their lives, scenes of family troubles, social visits, etc. The style of the novel is distinguished by naturalness and ease. Lively dialogue, two or three transitions easily move the novel, create dynamism in the development of the plot.
