About the book: 1963 / At dawn on October 17, 1944, a military plane appeared from the direction of the Carpathians. They had been waiting for him since midnight at the Three Oaks airfield near Banska Bystrica. The landing group of Major Zorich was on the plane. This group subsequently became the core of the Soviet-Slovak partisan detachment, which, after formation, broke through to the rear of German troops advancing on the liberated area and launched combat operations on enemy communications in the Bratislava area.
