In his brief autobiography, Yoon Ha Lee writes: “A person raised in two cultures must be prepared to (a) achieve perfect functioning in both, and (b) experience constant discomfort in both.” Yoon Ha Lee's debut in fiction was the story “The Hundredth Question” (1999).
