About the book: 2024 / This series contains stories about the supernatural of the late 19th – early 20th centuries. All of them have been translated into Russian for the first time. Many of the authors of the collection will be remembered today only by fans of the genre or specialists, and yet their books were once printed in thousands of copies, became bestsellers and sometimes outstripped in popularity the works of more famous contemporaries today, such as Henry James or Wilkie Collins.
