About the book: year / The first volume (“Mutant Weapon”) of the first five-volume block of the Anthology of World Science Fiction includes works by American science fiction writers. The collection is based on five works of different scales by Murray Leinster from the cycle about the adventures of a space doctor (“Emergency on a Universal Scale”). The design of the block is designed so that when the constituent books are placed in a certain order (from left to right: “Mutant Weapon”, “Halcyon Current”, “Space Fugitive”, “Weapon of Oblivion” and “Ahriman’s Arrow”) their spines will form one common a drawing representing the symbol of this block.
