About the book: 2021 / The monograph is dedicated to understanding the features of the transformation of the ballad genre in Russian poetry of the late 20th – early 21st centuries. The study examines the genesis, stages of formation and development paths of the ballad genre in the modern poetic process: the nature of its development in the work of poets of the “traditional” and “avant-garde” paradigms is identified and described, the poetological features of the ballad genre in these ideological and artistic paradigms are analyzed in detail: its problematic and thematic originality and compositional principles, the features of the interaction of the ballad with other poetic genres are studied, the place of the ballad genre in the modern poetic process is indicated. The book is addressed to a wide readership: from professional philologists to all those who are interested in modern poetry and the dynamics of its genre forms.
