They say that she didn’t notice it, didn’t get it, didn’t confirm it here, made a mistake there, didn’t figure it out here, overlooked it there, etc. etc. The history of the Great Patriotic War, especially its bloody and tragic beginning, is no exception. The founders of the intolerable blasphemy, lies and slander against Soviet intelligence were the marshals and generals of the pre-war and war era. In the activities of intelligence and counterintelligence of the USSR there was, of course, not only positive, but also negative. There were mistakes and blunders. There were also unfounded suspicions regarding agents and intelligence officers, as well as the information they reported. There were, alas, failures. In short, everything was there. Unfortunately, these negative phenomena are constant companions of active intelligence activities. This book does not talk about the negative aspects in detail, but only for the simple reason that they have already talked about it beyond measure. That is why the study is 99.99% focused on an informative display of the achievements of Soviet intelligence as a community of all intelligence services of the USSR on the eve of the war.
