About the book: 1988 / The book is dedicated to the events of the Second World War. In the form of memoirs of witnesses, it tells how Czechoslovak patriots and members of the Resistance prepared and carried out an operation against Hitler’s governor in the “protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia” Reinhard Heydrich, who pursued a policy of genocide in a number of countries of occupied Europe. The author shows the readiness to fight of the Czechoslovak people who were not broken by the Nazis.
