About the book: year / The work "Rolling Eyes" is both a phantasmagoric and acutely social dystopia. The events take place in a fairy-tale kingdom, the rules of which make the reader wonder if he himself lives in the same fairy tale. The main character, Princess Rolling-Eyes, the owner of the kingdom, wears her title purely nominally; real power entirely belongs to her husband, the King, who is always hungry, always insatiable. The princess, blinded by love, does not resist her husband in anything, fulfilling all his whims. The King orders the Princess to get him a magic pot full of gold coins and the Princess, submitting to his will, sets off on a long journey full of surprises and adventures. On the way, the Princess meets different characters, bad and even worse, two of them become her companions and help her, however, pursuing their own selfish goals, and the journey, full of dangers, gives the characters the opportunity to reveal themselves fully. But the Princess, faced with the realities of a fairy-tale kingdom - she does not harden her soul, the hardships and adversities experienced, and sometimes temptations, did not break her iron will, her image embodies the soul of a modern woman - strong and resilient, capable of overcoming any obstacles, and at the same time remaining sensitive and forgiving. The book shows in detail the conditions of existence of the feudal class, which sharply contrast with the life of the common people. Complete permissiveness and total oppression, insane luxury and deep poverty, lawlessness and strict judgment, the right of the strong and the lawlessness of the weak are intertwined. The Princess has to face all this, having felt all the depravity and injustice of the existing system in the person of many of its representatives. The Princess has to face the most terrible vice - betrayal, and even those who were called friends stand up against her for the sake of their own benefit. Moreover, the gold that the Princess is looking for, as it should be for real gold, is a metal that carries destruction within itself, it has its own evil will, corrupting everyone and everything, depriving them of their will and pushing them to commit crimes. Yet the Princess, showing an unbreakable character, achieves her goal and successfully returns home to her loving husband, as she believes, not expecting at all that the culmination of her adventures awaits her in her native palace. It is safe to say that this book will not leave anyone indifferent, none of those who read it will be the same , the world presented in the book, although somewhat crazy and stereotypical, still often resembles the real world, which at times also throws out, downright fairy-tale passages. The work carefully preserves (if possible) the features of the author’s spelling and punctuation.
