About the book: a year / 200 years ago there was a nuclear war that swallowed up the whole world. About two million people survived. They moved to the only continent suitable for life. And I am among them. The remaining continents are inhabited by monsters. We call them Diseases. They have mutated and are now hunting us to eat us and recreate their own kind. The only thing that protects our continent is the Edge. A high wall, built of iron and stone, guarded by Guardians - our protectors, our police. But I think we're locked in. The only surviving people on Earth are slowly dying. We will sooner or later run out of water, food and gas. Diseases are increasingly penetrating into the continent. The edge is no longer a hindrance for them. But our Council is blind. Even in this poor world, they find where to profit and steal money. Our end is approaching and I'm afraid. But I still believe that perhaps the rest of the lands can become our new home. I'll tell my own story
